Important Message from Vernal Brown
to all Local 325 Retirees -

"We all know there are times when you need my help in resolving issues with your medical benefits.  With the new HIPPA privacy laws I am now required to have a "signed form" from you AND your spouse to discuss any matters with your insurance carrier.  By 'clicking' on your insurance carrier's name below you will be able to print the instructions and the form.  Please complete the form and mail it to me at the address shown.  If you have any questions about this, feel free to call me at 314-731-2800.  Thank you, and God Bless."

At our Union Meetings we always provide the most up-to-date information on insurance and medical changes.

  • A Blue Cross/Blue Shield Representative will be present at every other meeting.  Our Benefits Rep., Vernal Brown, will be present at our meetings on an "as needed" basis.  Vernal is knowledgeable of all changes concerning our insurance, and will instruct and guide us in signing up for Social Security Benefits.  If you have any questions please call Sister Vernal at 314-731-2800 to make an appointment.
  • Jim Booker of SVS Vision is available to answer questions and provide the details you need on getting those "new" glasses.
  • We have "guest speakers" who provide information on special needs of Retirees, such as home care, medical benefits, legal advice, etc.

2011 Contract Changes

The 2011 contract with Ford Motor Company has eliminated the Annual Christmas Bonus effective in December, 2011.  Also, Legal Services will be eliminated effective January 1, 2014.  If you are in need of any legal services (Wills, etc.) be sure to have everything completed before the end of 2013.  To see a list of services you might consider having done before the legal services benefits end, click here.

New ideas are on the horizon for our Chapter -

Beginning in 2012 we will have Annual Food Drives for those less fortunate, and Local 325 members have always been the most generous!  Plans are also being made for an Annual Picnic with food, fun, and fellowship.

If the weather gets too bad ...

We never want to cancel a membership meeting, but snow and ice could force a cancellation.  Be sure to listen to KMOX 1120-AM radio, or KSDK Channel 5 television, during their morning broadcast.
